Majestara Development Limited acts as the data controller with respect to personal data collected through the Website, as well as data processed in connection with demo requests and Freemium Access to the Platform.

However, with respect to personal data of Authorized Users, the Freemium User acts as the data controller, and Majestara Development Limited acts as the data processor, processing such data solely on behalf of and under the instructions of the Freemium User, in accordance with the Data Processing Agreement and applicable data protection laws.

Who this Policy applies to

This Policy applies to three types of users:

• Visitors – individuals who browse the EraLMS website and view information about the platform.
• Demo Applicants – individuals who fill out the “Request a Demo” form and submit their contact details to request demo access.
• Freemium Users – Demo Applicants who have been granted demo access to the EraLMS Platform for a limited period.

What Data We Collect

Visitor

When you visit our Website, we may collect information such as your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and version, interface language, screen resolution, cookies, session duration, clicks, scrolls, and the pages you enter and exit from.

This information is processed to ensure the Website functions properly, to perform analytics, to improve user experience, and to enhance Platform performance.

Demo Applicants

If you request a demo, we collect your full name, company name, email address, country, and phone number.

We use this information to process your demo request, contact you, schedule and conduct consultations, and provide you with demo access to the Platform.

The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a pre-contractual obligation at your request and our legitimate interest.

Freemium Users

For Freemium Users, we collect data about Authorized Users (such as full name, email address, role, and affiliation with a branch or company) to create and manage user accounts within the Freemium workspace and to enable authorized access to the Platform and its features.

We also process information on course progress, test attempts and results, and answers to questions to provide learning functionality, track training progress, and generate statistics demonstrating the Platform’s capabilities.

Additionally, we collect logins and logouts, time spent in the system, and interactions with content to ensure security, maintain system performance, detect misuse, and improve user experience.

Finally, data such as user IDs, tenant IDs, and device or browser information are processed for system administration, maintaining integrity and security, and troubleshooting technical issues.

The legal basis for all of these activities includes the performance of a contract (provision of demo access) and our legitimate interest.

* Authorized Users means individuals (for example, employees, contractors, or other persons authorized by a Freemium User) who are granted access to and use the Platform under that Freemium User’s account.

The Freemium User administers their Authorized Users’ access and determines the purposes and means of processing their personal data. In this context, Majestara Development Limited acts as a data processor, and the Freemium User acts as a data controller.

How long we retain your data

• Visitor data is stored for up to six months based on legitimate interest. Cookies are stored as specified in our Cookie Policy.
• Demo Applicant data is retained for up to six months after the submission of the request, unless a longer retention period is required for legal or legitimate business purposes.
• Freemium User data, including workspace data, Authorized User accounts, learning results, and activity logs, is stored for the duration of Freemium Access (three months) and deleted within 30 days after expiration, unless further processing is required under a separate agreement or by law.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected or to comply with applicable legal requirements.

In some cases, we may retain data for a longer period if:

• it is required to fulfill our legal obligations;
• it is necessary to protect our rights or legitimate interests in the event of disputes, claims, or investigations;
• you have given your explicit consent for extended retention.

Data Sharing with Third Parties
